BIOGRAPHY

Brennan McGuire is a singer/songwriter and producer with a flair for all things Americana. Originally from upstate New York, Brennan was raised on old time gospel, traditional Celtic music and the Johnny Cash song book. As his musical journey progressed, he fell in love with classic rock like Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin, and the raspy storytelling of outlaw country greats like Waylon Jennings.

He started his performing career at the early age of four years old in his home town Baptist church and has been at it ever since. "I can remember as a kid, my mom had to stop taking me to the grocery store because I would stop folks to ask if I could  sing them a song. One time, it took us an hour and a half to just grab some bread and milk."

That performing spirit still lives strong in him today. You can find him most days, playing acoustic at Rippy's Honky Tonk and at Loretta Lynn's Ranch, singing country classics and rockabilly hits, or out on the road, playing clubs and bars with one of his bands, Tumbleweed Preacher and The Shred Necks.

Brennan's passion for music extends beyond the stage. He is also a multi-instrumentalist and a producer/engineer. Currently, he works as the student engineer and producer at The Honky Tonk Studio and his own studio, Silvertop Sound. He has been engineering since 2008, and has worked at studios from Hollywood, California and upstate New York to Nashville, Tennessee.
